The police are looking for a group of robbers who have struck two Manhattan jewelry stores last week. Their M.O. is to enter after making a hole in the wall.

The first incident occurred around 1 a.m. on February 23rd: Police say that "three unknown masked suspects made a hole in the lobby of 767 Lexington Avenue and entered The Torino Jewelry store. The suspects then removed numerous pieces of jewelry from the wall displays and glass counters before fleeing the location to parts unknown." Here's video:

Then, at some time between Saturday afternoon, February 28th, and 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 1st, the NYPD says, "Two masked suspects made a hole in the lobby wall of the Directors Guild of America located at 110 West 57th Street, in the confines of the Midtown North Precinct, and then used the hole to gain entry into an adjoining jewelry store. The Finest Inn. Inside, the suspects removed numerous trays of watches from the store's office."
