A little teacup Yorkshire puppy was taken from a pet store earlier this month, and the robber was caught on surveillance video.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on May 4, at the R & K Dogs Grooming store at 888 East Tremont Avenue: "The suspect removed a black and brown Tea Cup Yorkie puppy from a cage and walked out of the store without paying for it; he fled the location in an unknown direction."

Video shows the suspect, who appears to be carrying a large bag on his shoulder, reach down and take the puppy from the display window:

The suspect is described as being 5'8" and 220 pounds and last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a dark colored baseball cap, light blue jeans and tan work boots.
