Police are looking for a pudgy perp who they say attempted to rob two stores in Brooklyn on the same day last week. The gun-toting suspect, who was wearing sunglasses and a black bandana on his face, first hit a convenience store on 4th Avenue in Bay Ridge around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 23rd. Then around 7:20 p.m., he attempted to hold up a deli on Kane Street in Cobble Hill—but didn't get any money. You can see surveillance video from both holdups below.

Police describe the suspect as 20-25 years old, 5 foot 8 in height, black hair, and 200 to 220 pounds. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS, or submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website.
