A thief used his van as a battering ram to break into a Queens store and steal cigarettes and cash early Monday morning. Now investigators are releasing video of the burglary and suspect in hopes the public can help ID him.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on Monday, January 23rd. According to the NYPD, "The individual crashed a white van into the front gate of 82-31 153 Avenue"—Village Card and Gift—"and drove away. The individual then entered the location after he approached again on foot, and removed cigarettes and $750 cash."

The suspect is described as being about 25 years old and 190 pounds with black hair in cornrows. He was last seen wearing blue jeans.
