Last Friday, a pair of men robbed a Madison Avenue jewelry store in Midtown of $36,000 in merchandise. How did they do it? With one man posing as a dapper customer and his accomplice busting out the pepper spray.

The robbery occurred at Madison Jewelers, 400 Madison Avenue, on Friday just after 3 p.m. Police say that one suspect, wearing a suit and fedora, entered the establishment first, showed a gun and demanded Rolex watches. Then the second suspect entered the store and pepper-sprayed the employees.

According to police, the first suspect is a black male, around 30 years old, 6'0", and 180 lbs while the second suspect is a black male, also around 30 years old, with a heavy build.
