Yesterday, emergency responders got a call about a "car into supermarket" on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn. WCBS 2 has surveillance camera footage from inside the store, the Gem Meat Supermarket, which shows the wall and shelves buckle in from the impact. See it below

The police believe the driver of the white BMW SUV pressed on the gas instead of the brakes. One person from inside the store was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. And the Post spoke to a witness who said people went to the damaged store "to swipe meat, canned goods, milk and other foods." He said, "People were screaming and yelling . . . you actually had people coming to rob the store."
