Police have released video of the suspect who threw a smoke bomb into a Greenwich Village restaurant on Friday. The incident happened around 4:50 p.m. yesterday when the male suspect emerged from an MTA subway emergency exit and tossed a smoke canister into the outdoor seating area of Bar Pitti on Sixth Avenue. The suspect then fled the restaurant via the same subway emergency exit. No one was injured in the strange incident, but a lot of people—including actress Rose McGowan, who was eating there at the time—were understandably freaked out by it.
Cops describe the suspect as around 20 years old, with blond wavy hair. He was last seen wearing black gloves, black baseball cap, and a multi colored t-shirt.
