A man woke up to find that he had been robbed of thousands of dollars worth of items while he dozed on a Brooklyn stoop.
Police say that the 47-year-old victim fell asleep on a stoop in front of 3014 Coney Island Avenue around 1:53 a.m., and, "[w]hile he was sleeping, an unidentified male approached the victim and, over the course of approximately an hour, relieved the victim of a bracelet valued at $2,000, a neck chain valued at $1,000, a Tommy Hilfiger vest valued at $200, and a Calvin Klein wallet valued at $200 and which contained ID and bank cards."
The victim discovered his wallet, jewelry, and vest were gone when he woke up. He later reported the robbery to police.
