A grandmother chased down a man who tried to kidnap a three-year-old boy in his stroller on Monday. The shocking incident was captured on security camera footage, and now police are asking for help tracking down the suspect.

It happened around 3:49 p.m. in front of the Thanksgiving Supermarket on 86th Street in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. According to the NYPD, the boy was in the stroller when the man "proceeded to remove him by pushing the stroller away from his grandmother."

Luckily, the grandmother saw what was happening and ran after the suspect, who then abandoned the boy and stroller, fleeing west on 86th Street.

The boy was uninjured. The suspect, who is wanted for attempted kidnapping, is described 25-40 years old.
