Police are searching for a suspect who they say sexually abused two little girls in a public library in June. The incidents happened around 6:20 p.m. on Saturday June 23rd at the Queens Borough Public Library. The suspect, believed to be in his 40s and wearing a Yankees baseball cap, approached two little girls, six-years-old and nine-years-old, and touched both of them inappropriately. You can see surveillance video of the suspect below.

As we have previously noted, Yankees hats seem to be very popular among criminal types. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers' website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
