Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video shooting another person in Bushwick. Cops say the incident happened just after 8 p.m. on Friday in the vicinity of Moffat Street and Wilson Avenue. As you can see in the video below, the suspect approached a 24-year-old man and shot him in the left leg and lower back.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition; despite shooting him at close range, he survived his injuries. Also in the vicinity during the shooting was a five-year-old girl on a tricycle; she was unharmed. The suspect is described as a male black 20-30 years old, 5'7"-5'8", 220-230 lbs, and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a Yankees hat.
