On Monday morning, police found a man shot in the legs and torso outside of 85 Tompkins Avenue in Brooklyn. The victim died at Kings County Hospital. Now, police are sharing surveillance footage showing his shooting in hopes of finding the gunman.
According to the NYPD, they responded to the call about the shooting at 6:10 a.m. Cory Goulbourne, 33, was killed outside of the Tompkins Houses, and the video shows a person in a grey hooded sweatshirt walking towards Goulbourne and firing a gun.
Goulbourne, who apparently recently moved to the development, had 15 prior arrests, which the Daily News says were "mostly for drug possession." Community activist Tony Herbert said, “We must continue to rally, fight and be diligent in putting light on these crimes against humanity, and let the perpetrators know that we will call for their arrest as we are watching to insure that they are positively identified."
