Days after the Koch brothers'-funded PAC released an ad critical of President Obama and Solyndra, Obama's re-election campaign has released its first TV ad to fight back.

As The Caucus reports, "The Obama campaign responded hastily. It placed orders for television time on Wednesday, telling broadcast stations that it wanted the advertising on the air immediately. Typically, stations require more than a day’s notice."

A voiceover says, "Secretive oil billionaires attacking President Obama with ads fact checkers say are not tethered to the facts"—a reference to the billionaire, Tea Party-loving Koch brothers who have funded the PAC Americans for Prosperity. The ad mentions how Obama has created 2.7 million clean energy jobs, reduced dependence on foreign oil and says his record on ethics is "unprecedented," ending with, "President Obama. Kept his promise to toughen ethics rules and strengthen America's energy economy."

The ads begin running today in Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin."
