The NYPD says that a pair of men tried to rob a Queens home owner while armed and posing as police officers with badges dangling around their necks. Here's video of the suspects:

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on September 26, a Wednesday, at around 1 p.m. in a home on Cypress Avenue. The victim, a 49-year-old man, allowed the men, who who had guns and wore shields, to enter his apartment. The suspects eventually fled the apartment without taking anything.

One suspect is described as being a Hispanic male wearing a gray zipper sweater, gray sweatshirt, dark jeans, black and grey baseball cap, black boots and black gloves. The other suspect, also a Hispanic male, was last wearing a light grey jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, black boots, black gloves and a grey and black baseball cap. The men are wanted for attempted robbery and criminal impersonation.
