The NYPD has released this surveillance video showing a man suspected of forcing his way into a home in the Bronx, robbing a woman and throwing her 10-month-old child to the floor. Investigators say the suspect, joined by two accomplices, entered a home on University Avenue via a basement door on the morning of July 25th, around 9:30. According to the NYPD, what happened next is disturbing:

The suspects approached the victim who was holding her 10 month old son and ordered her to put her son down. When the victim refused the suspect took the baby from her arms and threw him on the floor bruising his eye. The suspects then tied up the victim and removed an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry. The suspects fled the location to parts unknown. The child was treated and released from North Central Hospital.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their mid-20s. One is approximately 170 lbs, dark skinned, and was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a blue Yankee Cap. His accomplice, seen in the video, is described as light skinned and wearing a reflective "road work vest." According to the NYPD, the third man is described as simply "wearing blue jeans."
