Police are on the lookout for a mugger who's robbed at least five people in Brooklyn and Manhattan by claiming he's armed with a gun with a silencer. The assailant, described as a 6-foot-tall bald white man in his 30s, approaches his victims, tells them he's got a "firearm with a silencer," and then relieves them of their personal property. Judging by this video, he also enjoys cinching his pointed hoodie tightly around his head:

The NYPD says the suspect has struck at least five times since Sunday. Here's the pattern:

  • Incident #1 - At approximately 2200 hours on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in front of 39 E. 1 Street in the confines of the 9th Precinct. A male, 19 year old victim.

  • Incident #2 - At approximately 0345 hours on Monday, November 18, 2013 on the southbound platform of the F Train at 2 Avenue and E. Houston Street in the confines of the 9th Precinct. A male, 30 year old victim.

  • Incident #3 - At approximately 1450 hours on Monday, November 18, 2013 on the southbound platform of the B/Q Train at Dekalb Avenue Subway Station in the confines of the 84th Precinct. A male, 15 year old victim.

  • Incident #4 - At approximately 0025 hours on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 on the southbound F Train as it approached the W. 4 Street and 6 Avenue station in the confines of the 6th Precinct. A male, 20 year old victim.

  • Incident #5 - At approximately 0320 hours on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 on a southbound D Train as it left the DeKalb Avenue Subway Station in the confines of the 84th Precinct. male, 24 year old victim.
