The police are looking for a man suspected of breaking into a Williamsburg apartment and trying to rape a woman sleeping inside.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. on Sunday, September 8, in the area of Metropolitan Avenue. The 21-year-old woman was sleeping when a man climbed on top of her and tried to rape her. The victim struggled and the suspect fled out a window. The victim had minor injuries.

The police also released video of the suspect, who is seen wheeling a bicycle.

The suspect is described as being 5'4"-5'7", wearing a white t-shirt with a design on the left shoulder.
