A man in a Halloween mask terrorized a Bronx laundromat worker during an armed robbery this week. "I am so afraid. I can't think of anything. I can't talk. I wanted to shout 'somebody help me.' I was so scared," victim Wenmei Niu told ABC.
The incident happened on Thursday just after 9 p.m. at the Laconia Avenue Laundromat. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from the 51-year-old clerk.
"Then he grabbed me and says 'give me money'. That's why I don't know what he is doing, he's got a mask. He has a gun. I felt I was in shock," Niu said. The suspect ended up taking $246 from the cash register and fleeing the location in a grey Jeep Liberty SUV.
