An expensive Gibson guitar was stolen from a Guitar Center in Queens, and police have video of the thief in action.

The guitar grand larceny occurred on October 18 th at 3:50 p.m. at the Long Island City location at 34-17 48 Street. Police say "an unknown male suspect removed a custom Gibson guitar valued at $4,650 from a display stand, secreted the guitar under his shirt and exited the store without paying."

The NYPD released video of the theft and describe the suspect as about 30, 5'10" and 165 pounds; he was wearing a two-tone gray long sleeve shirt over a black t-shirt with a white chest design, blue jeans, black sneakers and eyeglasses.
