Cops are searching for a man and a woman wanted in connection to an armed deli robbery on the Upper East Side. Police say a man brandishing a knife walked into a deli at 230 East 80th Street around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15th and demanded cash and cigarettes from a worker behind the counter.
The man fled the scene with $350 and one pack of smokes, and remains at large The NYPD has released security camera footage of the suspect.
The suspect was later seen wearing a black baseball hat, dark colored jacket and a white T-shirt, in the company of a woman wearing a medium colored jacket and a black backpack, pictured above. Cops are on the lookout for both.
