This week, it was reported that JPMorgan Chase is in talks with the Justice Department to pay $13 billion to the U.S. government over its role in the subprime mortgage fallout that led to the 2008 recession. But not everyone approved of the deal—both CNBC and Fox Business Network talking heads came to the defense of JPMorgan Chase, calling the deal a "shakedown witch hunt scalping jihad."
