A group of good Samaritans helped lift a car off of a hit-and-run victim in the Bronx on Friday.

According to CBS, witnesses say the 69-year-old victim was struck by a car as he was walking in the crosswalk at Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenues around 11 a.m. The driver dragged him about a quarter of a mile down the block, leaving his clothes tattered and ripped. The driver then left the vehicle and fled on foot.
