Yesterday, officials released all the names of the victims of Friday's horrific Connecticut elementary school shooting. Altogether, 27 people—including 20 children—were killed by alleged shooter Adam Lanza (he also committed suicide). Late yesterday, Robbie Parker—the father of one of those 20 children, 6-year-old Emilie Parker—spoke to the media about her senseless murder. "My daugher Emilie would be one of the first ones to be standing up and giving her love and support to all of those victims, because that is the type of person she is," he said. "This world is a better place because she has been in it."

You can watch the entire touching speech above. Parker remarkably fought back tears during the statement, and expressed sympathy to the family of the shooter, and his slain mother, as well: "I can't imagine how hard this experience must be for you, and I want you to know that our family and our love and our support goes out to you as well," Parker said.
