Police released surveillance video of a man who allegedly raped and robbed a woman in Brooklyn yesterday morning. The attack occurred a block from Brooklyn College.

According to the NYPD, a 22-year-old woman was approached by a man near East 27th Street and Glenwood Road around 9:45 a.m. The man "then forcibly took the victim to an alleyway and raped her. The suspect also forcibly removed the victim's personal property and fled in an unknown direction." The video from the NYPD shows the man taking the victim down the alley and later another angle shows the suspect apparently throwing something over a wall and then fleeing.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his mid-20s, approximately 5'6"-5'7", 160 lbs., with a medium build and bald head. He was last seen wearing a blue NY Yankees baseball hat with a white brim and dark gray jacket.
