By our estimations, the population of New Jersey is at least 30% bear—bipedal bears who walk around like cartoon characters, angry bears who fight over the last bowl of porridge, and hip bears who were priced out of Brooklyn. So what happens when bears stop playing nice and start getting real over who gets first dibs at the tipped over trash can in the cul-de-sac?

"It's not uncommon for them to come around here on garbage day and ransack the cans," Montville Township resident Tracey Bednash, who took the video above, told NBC. "The huge mama bear was seen around the neighborhood the past week or two. I'm sure she was lurking around."

This is a nice reminder that life is brutal when there isn't enough garbage to go around, something every Internet writer knows well. Anyway, here's a baby bear chaser for ya:
