Hip bears have been following the lead of priced-out but affluent Brooklyn residents and relocating to the suburbs of NJ all year. But now these bears are finding that their cozy cul-de-sacs are becoming overcrowded with their honey-craving neighbors, and petty arguments over who forgot to turn off their sprinklers and who ate the last bowl of porridge have spilled out into the streets and escalated into vicious bear trash battles.

You can see one such gladiatorial match play out in Rockaway, NJ, in a clip from this past summer that was just put online. Watch as two black bears bite, scratch and tumble around the neighborhood as a human witness cowers in his car. The video lasts just over six minutes, but it feels like it's at least 12.
