At least seven taxi drivers have been robbed this summer by a man whose M.O. is pretty simple: He bicycles up to a taxi cab driver sitting in traffic, then reaches in and grabs cash from the driver's shirt pocket.

Police are on the lookout for the suspect, who is allegedly committed the robberies between June 28th and July 31st. Police say he struck on the Upper East Side, Times Square, Flatiron, Union Square and Greenwich Village. Here are the details, according to the NYPD:

(Incident# 1) It was reported to the police that on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1700 hours an unidentified individual approached a taxi in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and East 60th Street within the confines of the 19th Precinct and removed $105 from the 58-year-old male operator, through an open window. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in a south west direction.

(Incident# 2) It was reported to the police that on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 2030 hours an unidentified individual approached a 55-year-old male operator of a taxi, reached into an open window and removed $20.00 from the driver, while stopped in the vicinity of 47th street and 6th Avenue within the confines of the 18th precinct. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in an unknown direction.

(Incident# 3) It was reported to the police that on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at 1330 hours an unidentified individual approached a 54-year-old male operator of a taxi, reached into an open window and removed $137 from the driver, through an open window, while stopped in the vicinity of 732 Madison Avenue within the confines of the 19th precinct. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in an eastbound direction.

(Incident# 4) It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 at 1520 hours an unidentified individual approached a 49-year-old male operator a taxi, reached into the open window and removed $78.00 from the driver through an open window, while stopped in the vicinity of Park Avenue South and East 18th Street within the confines of the 13th precinct. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in an eastbound direction.

(Incident# 5) It was reported to the police that on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at 1618 hours an unidentified individual approached a 43-year-old male operator of a taxi, reached into an open window and removed $100, while stopped in the vicinity of 58th street and 5th avenue in the confines of the 18th precinct. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in an eastbound direction.

(Incident# 6) It was reported to the police that on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at 1830 hours an unidentified individual approached 46-year-old male operator of a taxi and punched him with a closed fist and removed $200, in the vicinity of Waverly Place and Christopher Street within the confines of the 6th precinct. The suspect then fled on foot. Bicycle was left at the scene, which was later determined to be stolen. The driver suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.

(Incident# 7) It was reported to the police that on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at 1830 hours an unidentified individual approached a 66-year-old male operator of a taxi and removed $7.00 USC through an open window, while stopped in the vicinity of East 21st Street and Park Avenue in the confines of the 13th precinct. The suspect then fled on his bicycle in an unknown direction.

Police also shared video of the 4th incident.

The suspect is described as being 5'10"-6' tall and 200 pounds.
