A man was evidently willing to risk his life on the subway tracks at 68th Street rather than submit to police. According to the uploader of this video, the man in the blue pants wearing a black backpack was caught by a plainclothes officer "allegedly rubbing up against a woman on the train inappropriately." You can hear him beg the plainclothes officer, "Please sir! Please sir!" before leaping onto the tracks and narrowly missing the third rail twice.

To be sure, this isn't the first time we've seen people running into the tracks—earlier this year a guitar player was caught on camera dashing across the trackbed in pursuit of a tip. It's unclear if the suspect in this video escaped, but we've reached out to the video's uploader for more details, and we'll update as more info becomes available.
