A Long Island woman was arrested for drunk driving after she was caught on a dashboard camera ramming cars and terrifying people this week. Victim Yana Krasnov and her two daughters, ages 7 and 4, stopped at a red light around 4:30 p.m. Thursday along Woodside Avenue in Patchogue when suspect Linda Spina rammed into them. You can see what happened next in the video below.

"I thought maybe she just drove the wrong way, and I didn’t even prepare like she’s going to hit me," Krasnov told CBS. "It was very scary, and I couldn’t even imagine that she would hit us again, and I thought we might die. I was thinking I could lose my girls too. I might survive, but they would die."

Police arrived soon after the incident. Spina was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center.

Krasnov's husband Andrey, who installed the dashcam last year, uploaded the video online in the hopes of preventing something similar from happening to others: "You can actually maybe influence someone," he told Newsday. "People will remember this and stay at home when they are intoxicated."
