One of the victim's of last summer's wild Harlem shootout is suing the NYPD for $20 million. Larry Garlick, 38, was shot in the leg by a cop's bullet during the melee in August, in which one man was killed and two cops and two other bystanders were wounded. Garlick says he suffered severe physical injuries, as well as "emotional and psychological distress and horror" as a result of the shooting; he blames the NYPD for poor officer training and an inability to control the crowd. One man, Angel Alverez, was shot 21 times by police, but somehow survived his injuries.
