It's has taken nearly a week to bring electricity back to 99% of the hundreds of thousands of Long Island Power Authority customers who lost power when Hurricane Irene knocked it out, but some Long Islanders are really upset. Like Rajiv Pandey, a Central Islip 33-year-old, who was arrested for allegedly calling News 12 and saying he would plant a bomb at a LIPA facility on Friday.

According to Newsday, "The threat prompted police to dispatch officers to more than 30 facilities to check for an explosive. An investigation revealed that bomb threat call was placed from Pandey's cellphone." Pandey was arrested yesterday and is charged with falsely reporting an incident. Last week, a Hicksville man was arrested for aggravated threat when he allegedly called Nassau County emergency management and made threats against LIPA.
