A man was apparently chased into an Upper West Side street where he was shot earlier this morning. According to NBC New York, the police are now looking into it after "a man walked into a Manhattan hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest."
A deli worker told WABC 7 he heard three shots and surveillance footage shows the confrontation, with the victim being followed into Amsterdam Avenue near 88th Street.
The victim eventually took a taxi to the St. Luke's Hospital, where police say he is in stable condition.
