[UPDATE BELOW] The NYPD is searching for a man they say slashed a woman in the face inside the Herald Square subway station over the weekend.

According to police, the incident took place at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, somewhere inside the station.

The victim, 50, reportedly got into an argument with the suspect, identified by police as 24-year-old Kalleem Bing.

He then allegedly slashed her with an unidentified weapon. He fled the scene, and she was taken to Bellevue Hospital to receive treatment for the laceration.

The NYD says Bing is 5'8 and weighs approximately 150 lbs.

Update 11:58 a.m.: The Post reports that the victim and suspect are married to each other, and that they were arguing over who would carry their luggage when Bing allegedly slashed his wife. The tabloid says the attack happened on the Q train platform.

Police are still looking for Bing.
