Two window washers are currently trapped in their gondola outside the 21st floor of 290 Broadway in lower Manhattan. The building is a total of 32 floors. Update: Firefighters pulled the window washers back into the building through a window.
The FDNY is on the scene and Notify NYC says that people should expect traffic delays near Broadway and Reade Street.

According to WABC 7, "The scaffold is stable, it's just not operating. Operators are trying to figure out if it lost power or the motor malfunctioned."
