Two window washers are stuck on scaffolding outside the 65th floor of the Courtyard Marriott hotel between West 54th and 55th streets in Midtown, according to the FDNY [see update below]. Rescue teams are on site attempting to rescue the washers. A spokeswoman for the department described 1717 Broadway as an "active scene."

According to the FDNY, a call came in at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday. ABC reports that mechanics have been unable to get the stalled scaffolding to budge, and that firefighters are working to remove a pane of glass in order to pull the window washers inside.
No injuries have been reported at this time. We'll update with new information as it becomes available.
UPDATE: An FDNY spokeswoman confirmed that both window washers were rescued from the scaffolding around 3:00 p.m. Both were evaluated on the scene by EMS. There were no documented injuries, and no hospital transports.
