With the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks coming up, the Post caught up with a woman who was featured on a cover back in 2001 while holding a photograph of her fiance, slain in the World Trade Center. That woman is Rachel Uchitel, better known as Tiger Woods's former mistress. Uchitel said of James Andrew O’Grady's passing, "I believe Andy was meant to die because he was too good." I’m almost happy it ended the way it did because I’ve learned so many lessons from him. It would have been tragic if we got into fights and then divorced."

Further, Uchitel, who has a serious boyfriend and is moving to San Francisco, said, "I would be a fat housewife with three kids in Sands Point, LI," adding, "I never wanted [children] ... but I know how much I love my dogs, and I think I’d make a good mother to my own kids.”

Last year, Uchitel told the Daily Mail, "If things had been different and 9/11 had never happened, my life would have taken a different course. I’d be fat and happy, living in a big house in Long Island with a load of kids," and "We were madly in love and I was the happiest girl in the world. I was working as an assignment editor for Bloomberg News, Andy and I were talking about our future and kids. In Andy I had found my rock, a stable male figure that I’d never had ... then 9/11 happened... Andy and I had just come back from a holiday in Greece. I left for work early that morning. I didn’t kiss him goodbye because I didn’t want to mess my lipstick. It’s something that haunts me."

Update: Now we enter the lawsuit threat stage: TMZ reports that Uchitel wants to sue the Post, "Rachel tells TMZ, she was not only misquoted, but the quotes were taken wholly out of context. Rachel tells us, 'I would have loved nothing more than to be Andy's housewife.'"
