[UPDATE BELOW] The NYPD is questioning a man suspected of groping and/or exposing himself to nearly a dozen women in Williamsburg

Joshua Griffith, 20, is reportedly been accused of multiple counts of sex abuse, forcible touching and public lewdness, after a number of women reported that a man fitting his description had grabbed their rear ends or exposed himself to them within the vicinity of Graham Avenue and Jackson Street since May 2nd.

As many as nine women documented the groping incidents on a neighborhood parenting website, and several reported the assaults to police.

DNAinfo reports that Griffith has been arrested and charged, after a woman he'd allegedly groped on a previous occasion spotted him and recognized him, contacting police. An NYPD spokesperson tells us, however, that they are merely "talking to someone," and no arrests have been made yet. Stay tuned.

Update 3:58 p.m.: The NYPD has confirmed that Joshua Griffith has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse, forcible touching, and public lewdness stemming from ten incidents that occurred in Williamsburg. The first incident dates back to April 22nd; the last allegedly occurred on Wednesday at 12:50 a.m.
