The police announced that an off-duty NYPD sergeant is allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor. Vladimir Krull, a 10-year veteran, is charged with two counts of rape, two counts of a criminal sex act, two counts of sexual misconduct, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sex abuse.

The AP reports, "The girl, who is younger than 17, is the daughter of a woman Krull knows." According to NBC New York, "Authorities say they believe the relationship carried on over a period of time."

Krull, 37 was arrested while off-duty; he will be arraigned today. He worked in the Midtown North Precinct and is suspended without pay.

Update: Some more details about the allegations have emerged. According to the NY Times, the victim is a girl who is "now 14" and the incidents occurred "from late 2013 through 2014 at various locations in the Bronx." And the victim's mother apparently is or was Krull's girlfriend.

The Daily News reports, "The victim’s mother walked into Manhattan’s Midtown North Precinct last week and told cops that... Krull, 37, raped her teen daughter, a police source said."
