[UPDATE BELOW] Friends and family are searching for a 28-year-old Brooklyn man who has been missing since Sunday.
Peter Spear, a vocalist and guitarist in the band Empty Chairs, was last seen around 8 a.m. in Stewart's Shop restaurant in Pine Plains, New York. He's described as standing around 6-feet tall and weighing 165 to 170 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes and a "thin beard." He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a blue t-shirt, large wire-frame glasses and carrying a black backpack.
An update to the Facebook page "Find Peter Spear" says a "reliable witness" gave Spear a ride from a convenience store to "about halfway to a the train station" around 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Update, July 15: Peter Spear's body was found in the woods near where he was last scene, multiple outlets report. No foul play is suspected, and he appears to have committed suicide.
