A building in the East 30s—252 East 32nd Street—is being evacuated, apparently due to a parapet wall collapse. The current Department of Buildings complaint notes, "FDNY REQUESTED A STRUCTURAL STABILITY CHECK DUE TO CRACKS IN THE PARAPET" and a category code of "30 BUILDING SHAKING/VIBRATING/STRUCT STABILITY AFFECTED." Update: There's apparently no imminent collapse suspected, but East 32nd Street is still closed.
