A 50-year-old man was found dead in Prospect Park near Park Slope on Sunday night, directly behind the Parks Department's Litchfield Villa, police said.
The man was discovered unconscious and unresponsive in the rear of 95 Prospect Park West around 10:25 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death is currently under investigation by the medical examiner. The Parks Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The man will be identified pending family notification. No arrests have been made.
