A 79-year-old woman who lives on the Upper East Side is suing the owner of an Irish wolfhound she claims barreled into her and knocked her down, causing her to break her pelvis.

Dorit Greenspoon alleges that she was walking to the post office in February when the hound attacked her outside of 225 East 70th Street. Greenspoon fell and broke her pelvis in four places, according to a suit filed in Manhattan civil court.

The dog's owner, 67-year-old Susan Roth, allegedly fled immediately after her canine toppled Greenspoon. The suit alleges that Greenspoon used a wheelchair for months following the fall.

The dog does not appear to have been injured in the incident.
