Two people were killed yesterday in separate subway fatality incidents in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Police say that an as-yet unidentified man was standing at the Bowery J/Z platform around 5:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon when the first incident happened. Cops believe the man leaned in too close to the northbound J train and fell into its path. He was declared dead at the scene. No criminality is suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.
Then around 8:45 p.m., a woman fatally jumped in front of a 3 train at the elevated Saratoga Avenue platform in Brownsville. The woman, whose identity hasn't been released, was declared dead at the scene.
