At least they know their rights? In the past two days not one but two off-duty NYPD sergeants were arrested. One for harassment and one for allegedly punching a woman in the face in a fight over luggage space on a Chinatown bus!

According to authorities, 42-year-old Sergeant Besemah Rogers was arrested for assault on Monday evening while off-duty on the Lower East Side. The NYPD wasn't giving out further details, but Rogers' daughter tells the Post that the sergeant "got into a feud with an unidentified woman over a spot in the bus’ baggage hold." And while the the NYPD said the elder Rogers assaulted the other woman, her daughter denies it. "The [other] woman . . . smacked her in the face," she recalled. On the plus side? At least Rogers wasn't kicked off a bus for being "drunk" like some other officers of the law?

In other embarrassing news for the NYPD, on Tuesday 44-year-old Sergeant John Randazzo was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in the 13th Precinct (which covers the Flatiron District, Gramercy Park and Stuy Town). At press time, the NYPD wasn't sharing any further details on that arrest either.
