Police are looking for a pair of gunmen who robbed a Chinatown jewelry store in broad daylight, and tied up the employees with zip ties before they fled.
Cops say that two men walked into Sean's Diamond & Jewelry Inc., located at 277 Canal Street, shortly before 11:30 a.m. on September 15th, pulled out guns and demanded that the employees empty the store's safe.
After the employees complied and gave the men about $600,000 in jewelry, the thieves zip tied the wrists of a 55-year-old employee, a 38-year-old employee and a 26-year-old employee before fleeing. No injuries were reported during the incident.
Police described one suspect as about 28-years-old, 6 feet tall and 250 pounds, last seen wearing a green Jets hat, a black hoodie, black jeans and a black book bag. The second suspect was described as between 25 and 30 years old, 5'5", 145 pounds and was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, a black baseball cap and brown shoes.
