Two people were killed by passing subway trains today in separate instances in Brooklyn and Queens.
The first occurred around 6:15 a.m. at the D train station at 86th Street and 25th Avenue, according to FDNY. The identity of the victim is unknown.
In the second incident, a man was struck and killed by an R train just after 1 p.m. at the Grand Avenue-Newtown station, located at Queens Boulevard and Grand Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
