Two people were hospitalized after getting hit by a falling tree branch in Brooklyn this afternoon. The victims, who according to the Post were a man and a "young" woman, were taken to Kings County Hospital around 3 p.m., after a rogue branch snapped from a tree on Monument Walk in Fort Greene.

"He looked like he was in bad shape, sprawled out on the ground," a witness told the tabloid. "The man looked like he was bleeding really badly from his head."

An FDNY spokesperson told us that neither the man nor the woman's injuries were life-threatening. The incident comes a week after a tourist from Indiana was severely injured by a falling tree branch in Central Park.
