Port Authority police have arrested a La Guardia Airport TSA screener who allegedly brought a 22-year-old woman into an airport bathroom for "additional screening" on Tuesday, and proceeded to touch her breasts and genitals.

According to a Port Authority spokesman, police arrested 40-year-old Maxie Oquendo of Manhattan on Thursday night. The Post reports that Oquendo approached the victim, a 22-year-old foreign exchange student from Korea, soon after she landed at LGA's Terminal B, on a flight from her host's home in Salt Lake City.

Oquendo reportedly approached her on the terminal's third floor, and told her that she needed to follow him for "additional screening." The victim, who does not speak fluent english, followed Oquendo into a mens' restroom where, according to NBC, he allegedly asked her to lift up her shirt and proceeded to touch her breasts and put his hands down her shorts.

The victim filed a police report, and witnesses at a nearby money exchange kiosk confirmed his description—5' 9" and heavyset in a TSA uniform.

Oquendo has since been charged with forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment, and official misconduct.

TSA issued the following statement this afternoon: “TSA has terminated this individual. TSA holds its employees to the highest standards. As such, we expect our employees to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and with respect for the public we serve. [We are] working in close partnership with the Port Authority Police Department in support of this investigation.”
