The driver of a tractor-trailer who fatally struck a cyclist in Maspeth, Queens yesterday was found to be high on cocaine during the time of the crash.

According to the NYPD, 57-year-old Dennis Forceri tested positive for the drug after he hit 34-year-old Anna Rodriguez while making a right turn from 56th Road onto 48th Street. The crash occurred around 8:46 a.m. as Rodriguez was biking west on 56th Road.

Forceri, who is from Miller Place, Long Island, has been arrested and hit with a battery of charges, including first degree vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, driving under the influence of drugs, failure to yield to a bicycle and others.
