SkyView Center Mall Fire Extinguisher Dropby Gothamist

Police are after a trio of troublesome tweens who they say dropped a fire extinguisher from an upper level of a Flushing mall parking garage onto the windshield of a sport-utility vehicle. The NYPD has released surveillance footage of the incident, which occurred around 5 p.m. on June 2nd at the SkyView Center Mall on College Point Boulevard. The driver was not injured, but the incident was pretty scary, considering. CBS2 fleshed out that sentiment in this report:

Photos of the three alleged no-goodniks are below. Police describe them as aged 12-14.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-8477. People can also submit tips online at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637, then entering "TIP577".
